Well, it now just about works as I want it to Unfortunately after installing ImageMagick (to get this screenshot) it’s now slightly flakey on startup, so I might have to rebuild one or two things to get it stable again Hopefully all will sort itself out in due time (normally does).

So, the new install of FreeBSD is working quite nicely and the extra disk space means I’m not so worried about installing things. I discovered a bug that I’d managed to introduce into butter that basically meant that the settings weren’t being segregated correctly (inheritance wasn’t correct and in the process of fixing it I’ve managed to also change the syntax slightly again!
